Job Description

We're looking for a Marketing Planning Executive to support the Marketing Planning Manager in ensuring campaign and initiative planning is organised, well-documented, and aligned across the department. This role provides day-to-day administrative support for planning processes, meeting routines, reporting coordination, and cross-functional alignment.



You'll be based in our Head Office in Swindon, with the flexibility of hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.



The role also works closely with the wider Marketing Senior Leadership Team, supporting the preparation of reports, presentations, and governance materials. This includes assisting the Head of CRM, Loyalty and Communications with the management of specific governance routines, documentation, and planning deliverables.



This is a varied and collaborative role, suited to someone highly organised, detail-focused, and confident working across multiple teams to keep activities on track.



Key Responsibilities:



Support the Marketing Planning Manager with the coordination of campaign and initiative planning activity

Maintain and update planning documentation, calendars, trackers, and meeting materials

Arrange and take notes for key marketing planning meetings, tracking follow-up actions as required

Assist in the preparation and coordination of reports, presentations and dashboards for the Marketing Senior Leadership Team

Help ensure project timelines, key milestones, and deliverables are tracked and shared across teams

Coordinate with internal teams to gather inputs for planning documents, risk registers, and summary reports

Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency or streamline routine processes

Use standard tools and platforms (e.g. Google Workspace, Trello, Smartsheet) to keep planning documentation accurate and accessible



Skills and Experience



Some marketing experience or knowledge of digital, social media and CRM

Previous experience in a planning role dealing with multiple teams

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Confident using Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and collaborative platforms

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work flexibly to meet deadlines

Comfortable working with data, templates, and planning trackers

Enthusiastic team player, willing to support across different areas of the department
