The Role:We are looking for a creative, motivated, and digitally savvy Gallery Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to join our small team. Your main focus will be managing our social media presence, marketing campaigns, and online engagement, while also helping on the gallery floor during exhibitions, events, and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media & Marketing:

Plan, create, and manage content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms to grow audience engagement. Develop and implement marketing campaigns for exhibitions, events, and gallery initiatives. Manage email newsletters, mailing lists, and digital promotions. Capture and create visual content (photography, video, graphics) that represents the gallery and our artists. Track performance metrics and suggest improvements to digital strategy.
Gallery Support:

Assist with front-of-house duties, including welcoming visitors, handling sales, and providing information about exhibitions. Support exhibition installation, artist liaison, and general gallery operations as needed. Help coordinate gallery events, private views, and other public programming.
Requirements:

Experience managing social media accounts and running marketing campaigns. Strong communication, writing, and organisational skills. Proficiency with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.). Photography and video content creation and editing skills. Passion for contemporary art and a good eye for visual storytelling. Creative problem solver, proactive, and willing to help with day-to-day gallery tasks.
Desirable:

Previous experience in a gallery, creative space, or arts marketing.
