Marketing & Social Media Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

Location: Marston Green, Birmingham, B37 7BS

Temporary Role covering Maternity - Approx. 9 to 12 Months

12.40 per hour + performance bonus

Driving licence not required

About the Role

Ferndown Estates is seeking a confident, organised, and creative individual to join our team on a temporary basis, covering the Marketing & Social Media Coordinator role during a maternity leave period.

This is a hands-on position that supports our brand visibility and property marketing across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will be proactive and able to manage social media schedules, property listing content, and light campaign coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content Creation

Create and schedule engaging posts across Instagram and Facebook Write copy for campaigns such as: "Coming Soon" "Now Live" "Showcase" properties Monitor and respond to basic social media enquiries and interactions Maintain Ferndown's brand tone: professional, friendly, and confident

Property Marketing Support

Work with the Sales Team and Videographer to align content with our sales journey Upload, organise, and publish key assets such as 360 tours and walkthrough videos Use Canva and Meta Business Suite to manage branded content (training provided if needed)

Campaign Management

Assist with seasonal promotions and local engagement campaigns Maintain a consistent content calendar and track basic engagement metrics Contribute to newsletters, blog content, or window display materials as required

Ideal Candidate

Based in or near Marston Green, Birmingham (B37 postcode) Experienced in managing Social Media (Instagram and Facebook) Excellent written communication and content planning skills Confident using or learning tools such as Canva and Meta Business Suite Highly organised, deadline-driven, and able to work independently Familiarity with property marketing or similar admin is beneficial Available from Autumn 2025 for a 9-12 month maternity cover Office-based role: must be available Monday to Friday (flexible hours considered)
