Job Overview

We are seeking a Marquee Erector to join our team. Experience preferred but not essential as training will be given. The ideal candidate will be responsible in assisting with the assembly and installation of marquees for various events, ensuring that all structures are safe, secure, and visually appealing. This role requires a blend of technical skills and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

Assemble and erect marquees according to specifications and safety standards. Utilise power tools and hand tools for the construction and installation processes. Conduct inspections to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete projects within deadlines. Operate equipment safely while adhering to all health and safety guidelines. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience in marquee erection or a similar construction role is preferred. Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and other relevant equipment. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Physical fitness is essential as the role involves lifting heavy materials A valid driving licence is an advantage but not essential. Please note our base is in a rural location so candidates must be able to get to our place of work at the start of each day.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week

Schedule:

10 hour shift Monday to Friday Overtime Weekend availability
