Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in martial arts, teaching, and working with students of various ages. This role involves instructing classes, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive learning environment. The instructor will be responsible for developing students' skills in martial arts while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

Teach martial arts techniques and principles to students of all skill levels. Develop lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual students and groups. Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and participation. Implement behavior management strategies to maintain discipline during classes. Provide feedback and guidance to help students improve their skills. Organize and participate in events, competitions, and demonstrations as needed. Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to health and safety protocols. Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the overall program offerings.

Requirements

Proven experience in martial arts, including disciplines such as Karate, Judo, or similar. Previous teaching or coaching experience is highly desirable. Background in childcare or working with students in educational settings is preferred. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to effectively engage with students. Experience in related sports such as swimming, basketball, cheerleading, or climbing is a plus. Certification in lifeguarding or first aid is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students of all ages. A commitment to promoting health and fitness within the community.
