Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in martial arts and experience working with students of various ages. This role involves teaching martial arts techniques, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive learning environment. The instructor will be responsible for developing lesson plans, managing class behavior, and ensuring the safety of all participants.

Responsibilities

Conduct engaging martial arts classes for students of all skill levels. Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Teach various martial arts disciplines including Karate, Judo, and other relevant styles. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills. Maintain a safe and positive environment by implementing effective behavior management strategies. Organize and lead special events, workshops, or demonstrations to promote martial arts. Collaborate with other instructors to create a well-rounded physical education program. Engage with parents and guardians regarding student development and progress.

Experience

Previous experience in teaching or coaching martial arts is preferred. Background in sports coaching or physical education is beneficial. Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is a plus. Knowledge of lifeguard practices, swimming, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, or health club operations is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students and foster a supportive atmosphere. Proven ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining engagement. Pay: 30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week
