Duties
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions and discuss their specific needs and preferences.
Administer various types of massages, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic techniques.
Maintain a clean and organised treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitised and ready for use.
Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices.
Keep accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques to continually enhance skills.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both clients and staff.
Experience
Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is essential for effective treatment planning.
Certification from an accredited massage therapy programme is required.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
