Responsibilities
Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
Perform various types of massage therapies, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
Maintain a clean and organised treatment room, ensuring all equipment is sanitised and ready for use.
Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress, adhering to confidentiality standards.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually enhance skills and service offerings.
Provide clients with aftercare advice and recommendations for maintaining their well-being.
Collaborate with other wellness professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans when necessary.
Qualifications
Valid certification in massage therapy from an accredited institution.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, with the ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients.
Ability to create a calming environment that promotes relaxation and healing.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
