Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The successful candidate will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, alleviating pain, and enhancing overall well-being. A strong understanding of anatomy is highly desirable to ensure effective and safe treatment.

Duties

Conduct personalised massage sessions tailored to individual client needs, including relaxation, deep tissue, and sports massage techniques Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their specific requirements and preferences before treatment Maintain a clean, hygienic treatment area in accordance with health and safety standards Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress Advise clients on post-treatment care and recommend suitable future sessions or wellness practices Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and replenished as necessary Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and customer service at all times

Experience

Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or similar role within a wellness or healthcare setting Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential for delivering safe and effective treatments Certification from an accredited massage therapy programme or relevant qualification is required Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create a relaxing environment for clients Ability to work flexibly, including evenings or weekends if required, to accommodate client schedules
