Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team on Thursday ,Saturday and some time Sunday from 10 to 6 . The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional care to clients. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to create a calming environment that promotes relaxation and healing.

Duties

Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, tailored to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans. Maintain a clean and organised treatment space, ensuring all equipment is sanitised and ready for use. Provide clients with aftercare advice and recommendations for ongoing wellness. Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress. Stay updated on industry trends and techniques through continuous professional development. Collaborate with other wellness professionals to enhance client care.

Requirements

Valid massage therapy certification from an accredited institution. Proven experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not essential for newly qualified therapists. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism. First aid certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
