We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Sports & Remedial Massage Therapist to join our very busy multi-disciplinary team in Canary Wharf, London. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and anatomy, biomechanics enabling them to provide effective treatments tailored to individual client needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, high quality, strong massage techniques and a commitment to promoting relaxation and well-being.
Duties
Perform a variety of massage techniques, including remedial, deep tissue, and sports massage.
Assess clients' needs and develop personalised treatment plans.
Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices; posture, exercises & healthy lifestyle changes.
Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques.
Collaborate with other clinical professionals to enhance overall client care.
Attend CPD in-house or externally for continual professional development.
Must be willing to work in a fast paced environment and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
.
Requirements
Valid certification in massage therapy from an accredited institution.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
