Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to provide a relaxing and therapeutic experience for clients. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the well-being of clients through tailored massage treatments.

Duties

Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs and preferences. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes. Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to hygiene and safety protocols. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate aftercare practices. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage techniques through continuous professional development.

Qualifications

Valid certification in massage therapy from an accredited institution. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, with an emphasis on muscle groups and body mechanics. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required. Previous experience in a spa or wellness centre is preferred but not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 24.90-35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
