About us

Feel Good Balham is an award winning Holistic Therapy Centre, located in Balham, London SW12, less than 5 minutes away from the Tube and Train Station.

We have been established for over 13 years, taking over a pre-existing business and client base. We have many clients, the majority of which are returning clients who refer their friends and family.

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and professional therapists to join our team.

Our opening hours are:

Monday to Thursday 10.30am - 9.30pm

Friday 8.30am - 5pm

Saturday 10am - 6.30pm

Sunday 11am - 3pm

(Our reception desk is always covered during our opening hours)

All of our therapists are

self-employed

and rent rooms either on an ad hoc or contracted basis.

Ad hoc therapists are not guaranteed a room whereas contracted therapists have a specific room available to them on a particular day at a particular time.

Ad hoc therapists are able to rent a room on an hourly basis, subject to room availability.

Contracted therapists are charged slightly less than ad hoc therapists, all contracted therapists are required to take at least one block per week (4 hours) If you choose to take 2 slots then the rent is reduced further.

Contracted therapists get:

Preferential room rates A guaranteed room during your requested slot/s Access to our online booking system, enabling them to book, view and amend their appointments from their mobile or computer A page on our website The opportunity to create a poster for the window The opportunity to write articles which will go out in our monthly newsletter and be added to our website, linked to their webpage Bodywork therapists get 1 towel per hour and couch roll
All bodywork therapists are required to provide a trial treatment to ensure that treatments are performed to a high standard.

Contracted therapists are offered the first 4 weeks on an ad hoc basis, giving them time to get some marketing done while they only have to pay for what they use.

Contracted therapists are on a two month rolling contract, so you would only need to provide two months' notice if you wished to terminate.

If you become a contracted therapist the room is yours for the duration of your shift, other therapists will use it when you are not contracted to use the slot.

On agreeing to become a contracted therapist you will be issued with an invoice, to secure the room, this will cover the second 4-week period of rental.

We have 6 rooms in total. 2 talking therapy rooms (with a frosted static window) and 4 body work rooms with electric beds.

As a

self employed

therapist you are responsible for your own advertising but as a contracted therapist we will add a profile for you on our website so that clients can find you easily. We will also refer clients to you.

All therapists have access to our WiFi.

Qualifications:

Massage Qualification at Level 3 or above Proficiency in Anatomy and Physiology Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients Ability to tailor massage treatments to meet individual client needs
