Job Summary

Seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join the wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of anatomy and be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to clients. You will play a vital role in enhancing the overall well-being of our clients through various massage techniques tailored to their individual needs.

Duties

Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs and preferences. Perform a variety of massage techniques, including swedish, hot stones, aromatherapy, maternity and reflexology. Maintain a clean and organised treatment room, ensuring all equipment is sanitised and ready for use. Document client progress and treatment plans accurately. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy techniques. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both clients and staff.

Experience

Previous experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions. A strong knowledge of human anatomy is essential for effective treatment planning. Certification from an accredited massage therapy programme is required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning within the field.
