Are you a skilled Massage Therapist with experience in Sports and Deep Tissue Massage?

Stevenson Massage, based in Leith, Edinburgh, has been helping clients since 2019 with treatments focused on recovery, performance, and overall wellbeing. We're expanding our team and are looking for a therapist who is passionate about tailoring treatments to individual needs and delivering exceptional client care.

We believe that a great massage is tailored to the individual's specific needs, so a good knowledge of anatomy and injuries is essential, as well as being a positive person with a friendly nature.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial consultations with new clients to understand their needs and determine the most effective treatment. Deliver tailored massage treatments, applying the correct pressure and techniques for client comfort and results. Provide aftercare advice, including stretches, maintenance plans, and future care recommendations. Take part in quarterly team meetings to review clinic performance, set goals, and contribute ideas for improvement.

Shifts Available

This is a

self-employed position

, ideally covering some or all of the following shifts:

- Wednesday PM (3:00pm - 8:00pm)
- Thursday AM (9:00am - 12:30pm)
- Thursday PM (1:30pm - 8:00pm)
- Friday AM (9:00am - 12:30pm)
- Friday PM (4:00pm - 8:00pm)
- Alternate Saturdays (AM 9:00am - 2:00pm / PM 2:30pm - 6:00pm)

Exact times can be discussed on an individual basis. Additional days may also be available to cover team members' shifts.
On weekdays where both AM and PM shifts are listed, you are not expected to work both - and where suitable, one shift may be extended instead. For alternate Saturdays, ideally both AM and PM shifts would be covered, but only every other week alternating between the two shifts (not both on the same day each week). This requirement can be discussed further during the application process.
