Massage Therapist - Key Responsibilities



Perform professional massage therapy to clients according to their individual needs, preferences, and health conditions. Assess clients' medical histories, stress levels, and physical conditions to develop appropriate treatment plans. Apply a range of massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, aromatherapy, reflexology, and trigger point therapy. Provide pre- and post-massage consultations, explaining treatment goals and aftercare advice. Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing treatment environment in compliance with hygiene and health standards. Ensure proper draping and privacy of clients throughout the session. Record treatment notes and update client progress for future reference. Monitor and maintain inventory of oils, lotions, towels, and other supplies. Adhere to professional ethics, confidentiality, and code of conduct at all times. Collaborate with other wellness professionals (such as physiotherapists or chiropractors) when appropriate. Promote spa or clinic services and support customer satisfaction and retention. Stay updated on new massage techniques, anatomy knowledge, and professional training developments.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 16 per week
