Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Master Data Steward to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of of operations, processing and monitoring of various Master Data activities and the continuous improvement of robust master data management process.

Responsibilities



Complexity Management - Prioritise own workload in support of business requirements, contributing to problem solving, offering solutions based upon process knowledge, with an understanding of the impact of business integration and master data activities on business operations. Maintaining data, supporting the scheduling of periodic updates. Validating data once it enters the environment to ensure that business rules and quality standards are met, including that the data is fit for purpose when being used downstream by other application groups. Support the compliance against data business rules: ensuring that all documentation meets the standards which include the identification of how the information is being used and by who. Information sources: validating the legitimacy of the information sources, whether these are internal data providers or external data providers. Supporting the "user" community when collecting, collating, and triaging issues and problems with data. Prioritise issues as appropriate and in full communication with those individuals who may be impacted and with those responsible for remediation. Support the management of standard business definitions around data enforcing the use of key business terms for resolution and standardised definitions including compliance with naming conventions and standards. Data quality standards: help support the development of data quality standards applied to the data sets that are both used and produced. Authorising access and validation of data security by identifying, authenticating, and authorising information users. Authorising modifications to reference data and providing access to the metadata or data for the purposes of browsing. Support the 'data life cycle' , through ensuring quality around the creation, modification, sharing, reuse, retention, and back up of data.

Requirements



Data-driven attention to detail Good Excel skills and competent with ERP system, preferably SAP Good people skills to build strong relationships with team, business, and external partners. Good communicator, excellent telephone manners and able to influence others. High level of customer service awareness.

Pay: 29,000.00-30,000.00 per year
