Location: Blackburn, BB1 2FA - Office Based

Contract: Full-Time Hours / Permanent

Salary: up to \xc2\xa325,000 & Bonus Scheme

Our Master Data and Reporting Team is expanding and we have an exciting opportunity available for a Master Data and Reporting Specialist within EG\'s Transaction Support Services (TSS) department In this role you will be part of the Master Data and Reporting team and responsible for supporting the accurate and timely reporting of key business activities across TSS and the maintenance of accurate Master Data to a high standard.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the production of monthly reporting packs that include KPI dashboards and business performance measured by agreed SLA\'s.
  • Accurately gather all the necessary data required by the Reporting and Analytics (TSS) Manager in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support the accurate maintenance of all Master Data managed with the TSS Dept, ie Suppliers, Customers, General Ledger codes.
  • Monitor the Reporting and Master Data email inbox, dealing with queries as and when required effectively and timely.
  • Liaise with the broader finance team and your line manager to provide regular updates on daily, weekly and monthly activities ensuring your KPIs and SLAs are adhered too.
  • Ensure that all Master Data amendments are approved, accurate and in accordance with the companies guidelines and audit requirements.
  • Challenge and escalate any perceived risks to the business if they don\'t adhere with the controls around Master Data.
  • Offer ideas and recommendations where appropriate to processes you feel are in inefficient or ineffective.
  • Challenge and escalate any risks to the business, Adhere with the controls around Master Data ensuring only approved master data changes are made effectively and efficiently.
  • Assist in any projects relating to Reporting or Master Data maintenance which may includes any testing or software migrations.
  • Complete other ad-hoc duties as required.

Candidate Requirements
  • High level competence with Microsoft office software such as Excel, Power BI and MS Word
  • Able to work closely with and build excellent relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively with large volumes of data
  • Working knowledge of maintaining accurate master data, ensuring there are robust controls, supported by high quality reports that give senior monitoring around any changes or amendments
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated and able to operate with a high degree of autonomy or as part of a team
  • Previous experience working in a busy team
  • SAP S/4HANA (preferrable)
  • Working within a Shared Services environment (desirable)
  • Studying AAT or equivalent accounting qualification (desirable)
