As a Master Data Specialist you will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and reviewing vendor and employee master data while ensuring compliance with business policies and data security/GDPR regulations. Updates are processed through the ARIBA Vendor IT portal and manually in SAP.
Key Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to; Managing vendor and employee master data, including creation, modification, and deletion in SAP
Reviewing and approving vendor master data updates from ARIBA to SAP
Performing manual updates of vendor master data within SAP
Creating One-Time and Payment-Only vendors
Processing Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) workflows related to Master Data Maintenance (MDM)
Updating bank details while ensuring adherence to security protocols
Conducting regular reviews and cleansing of vendor master data
What we need to know about you
Essential
Qualifications & Training:
+ GCSE level
Experience & Knowledge:
+ Prior experience in Master Data and Accounts Payable processes
+ Basic understanding of Purchase to Pay (P2P) processes
+ Familiarity with financial systems
Skills & Competencies:
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Effective problem-solving abilities
+ Clear verbal and written communication skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Personal Qualities:
+ Self-motivated and disciplined
+ Adaptable to dynamic and evolving environments
+ Approachable with a positive attitude
