Our client, an award-winning multi-disciplinary architectural practice, is seeking a talented Senior Master Planner / Associate Architect to join their growing Guildford studio. This role offers the opportunity to lead large-scale residential and mixed-use master planning projects across the South and East of England.
You'll take a hands-on role in developing VA and landscape-led masterplans, working closely with the architecture team to deliver outline planning application packs for major sites. The position also includes supporting the growth of the Southern region, managing client relationships, and overseeing project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate large-scale housing and mixed-use masterplans.
Produce Revit-based masterplans, VA studies, and landscape frameworks.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients on outline planning submissions.
Manage CAD/Revit systems and assist with fee proposals, budgets, and programmes.
Liaise with local authorities, land promoters, and developers.
About You:
Degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or Planning (Master's preferred).
3-5 years' UK experience in large-scale residential or mixed-use masterplanning.
Skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Proven experience delivering projects for national housebuilders and developers.
Strong design, communication, and client-facing skills.
