POSITION SUMMARY

Previous experience in Goods in or Despatch, you'll be responsible for booking in customer units that are retuned for repair or service into the companies SAP system. Issuing parts directly to the Service Technicians, controlling the Service stock which includes managing the weekly cycle count process. Some interfacing with customers via email supported by the Customer Advocate, and preparing units for shipping.
This is small but fast paced goal-oriented team working together in what can be sometimes a noisy environment within the High Voltage area. You will be given safety training to enable you to understand the risks to be able to work safely within this area which you must always observe.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


Ensuring the area is always clean and tidy incorporating the 5S approach.
Receiving and shipping units on the SAP Service system.
Managing the Service stores, ordering parts, cycle counting etc.
Working with accounts on Import/Export and VAT inquires.
Issuing parts directly to the Technicians when required.
Working with planners to obtain parts.
Making sure units are correctly labeled.
Quoting customers.
Ordering stationery.
Other duties as assigned.


SKILLS


Good verbal and communication skills
Ability to accurately maintain parts inventory.
Good PC skills and a keen interest in leaning new software packages.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Have experience in moving heavy units with help and equipment provided.
Ability to accurately maintain customer unit inventory in a sequential date order.


EXPERIENCE

Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Previous experience with Service administration or Goods in.
