As part of our continued growth at the Ecclesfield site, we're looking to recruit an experienced

Material Handler (Night Shift)

to support workshop operations and keep materials flowing safely and efficiently.

The Role - Material Handler (Night Shift)

This is a practical, hands-on role at the heart of the operation, responsible for moving materials, supporting fabrication teams and maintaining safe, organised working areas during the night shift.

The role operates on a

night shift pattern (Monday to Thursday, 12-hour shifts)

, with

overtime opportunities available on Fridays

.

Key Responsibilities

Operating a counterbalance forklift truck to move raw materials and finished fabrications Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently Supplying materials to fabrication bays as required Supporting general yard and workshop logistics Working closely with supervisors and fabrication teams to keep production running smoothly Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety at all times

What We're Looking For

Valid counterbalance forklift truck licence (essential) Experience working in an engineering, fabrication or industrial environment Overhead crane and/or side loader experience - highly desirable A reliable, safety-conscious and team-focused approach Comfortable working with large, heavy steel components
