Job Summary:

NIC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented

Material Handler

to support our manufacturing and distribution operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials within our facility. This role is critical to maintaining production flow and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments. Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and trailers. Transport materials to designated storage or production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment. Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments according to order specifications. Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners or inventory software (e.g., SAP). Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits. Ensure proper labeling and placement of materials. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of experience in warehouse or material handling roles (preferred). Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime as needed.
