Material Logistics Controller

38.75 per week o Rotating shifts (Nights / Afternoons / Mornings)

We're a leading plastics manufacturer in Hereford, and we're looking for a

Material Logistics Controller

to join our fast-paced production environment. You'll be part of the team that keeps our machines running, our materials organised, and our production lines fed - helping ensure efficiency across every shift.

What you'll be doing

Most of your role will focus on making sure materials flow smoothly through the factory - picking, moving, returning and recording everything accurately. You'll use our ERP system to track stock, investigate discrepancies, and ensure batch traceability is maintained.

You'll also:

Pick and deliver materials from the warehouse to production lines Support general stores duties when required Return unused materials and finished goods to the correct locations Operate basic warehouse equipment (full training provided) Keep all work areas tidy, safe and organised Maintain clear handovers between shifts so nothing gets missed
This is a hands-on, practical role where you'll work closely with production teams and other logistics colleagues to keep things running smoothly.

What we're looking for

If you've got experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing - and you enjoy active, detail-focused work - we'd like to talk.

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

At least 1 year of warehouse or logistics experience Good attention to detail and accuracy The ability to lift up to 25kg Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Willingness to work on a 3-shift rotation, including nights Clear communication skills and a positive, reliable approach
