Material Logistics Controller - Warehouse / Manufacturing / Stock Control

Rotherwas, Hereford

Hours:

38.75 hours/week, Monday-Friday (rotating shifts - Nights/Afternoons/Mornings)

Salary:

13.84 per hour (including shift allowance)

We are looking for a Material Logistics Controller (also known as Material Handler, Warehouse Operative, or Production Logistics Coordinator) to join our team. You will manage the movement of materials from the warehouse to production, maintain stock control accuracy, and ensure our manufacturing lines run without delays.

Key Responsibilities

Pick, move, and deliver materials from the warehouse to production presses using our ERP system (Winman) Prepare materials for production runs to prevent downtime Return unused materials and finished goods to the warehouse, ensuring accurate stock records Operate warehouse equipment, including balers (for cardboard and plastic) and granulators (for regrind) Maintain batch traceability and complete accurate documentation Assist with manufacturing support tasks when required Keep all areas clean and safe, following health & safety and ISO 13485 procedures Carry out detailed handovers between shifts

Essential Skills & Requirements

Previous experience

in logistics, material handling, manufacturing or warehouse operations

Strong attention to detail with a focus on stock accuracy Able to lift and move up to 25kg Good written and spoken English Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook, ERP systems) Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment
