About the Role

On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Document Controller to support the support the activities of the planning and operations department . This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and technical excellence.





Key Responsibilities


Managing part / tool levels via stock management system via supply chain management / ERP software systems Placing tooling orders with approved suppliers and monitor order fulfilment Organising and managing materials / products in the Warehouse (Stores) Ensure waste material (FOD) is disposed of correctly Order materials in accordance with maintenance needs and demand Ensure that tooling calibration certificates are specified and supplied for all applicable tools and gauges Shipments of parts and tools including dangerous goods

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

Previous experience in a Materials Controller / Warehouse Coordinator role within manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics Experience with supply chain management / ERP software systems Maintaining stock (tooling and parts) availability to relevant KPI's Book parts out to work orders as requested by Team Leaders and Manufacturing Operatives Experience of picking & kitting of parts Familiar with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word and Excel) Experience operating a counterbalance forklift

Desirable:


Excellent organisational and planning skills Ability to work independently
