Summary of the Role

As a

Material Controller

, you'll play a vital role in supporting the successful and timely delivery of Capula-built control panels and equipment. Reporting directly to the Stores Team Leader, you'll be part of a collaborative team responsible for managing incoming deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring materials are stored, issued, and tracked effectively.

This is a hands-on role that requires a methodical approach, strong organisational skills, and a proactive attitude. You'll work closely with production teams and engineers to ensure the right components are available when needed, helping to keep projects on track and aligned with delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities



Receive and process deliveries, verifying documentation and updating the ERP system Maintain the electronic inventory management system and ensure traceability of all materials Store materials securely and clearly, preserving condition and accessibility Liaise with production and engineering teams to fulfil component requirements Manage the issue of materials and consumables in line with project needs Oversee PPE distribution and maintain accurate usage records Control calibration of tools and equipment, updating the calibration database Support continuous improvement and uphold health & safety standards

Desirable Knowledge



Familiarity with

electrical components

or an electrical background Experience using

Microsoft Nav ERP

or similar inventory systems

Working Hours



Monday to Thursday: 08:00-16:30 (30-minute unpaid lunch) Friday Week 1: 08:00-13:30 Friday Week 2: 08:00-16:30 (30-minute lunch) Occasional weekend work may be required
