Description of the Role:



We are looking to recruit a dynamic and proactive

temporary

Events Assistant

for 12 month starting on the 1 October 2025 - 30 September 2026 to join our team , supporting our events manager in delivering exceptional virtual and in-person events. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth planning, coordination, and delivery of in-person and online conferences, webinars, professional development workshops and chapter branch events, including managing the financial processes for event fees from invoice to collection. Working remotely, with the occasional requirement to attend team meetings and events in person, the ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and a talent for building relationships with stakeholders across the globe.

Responsibilities:



The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

Assist in setting up and maintaining the conference app with accurate content before and during events Manage event bookings, registrations, and payments, including issuing receipts and invoices Prepare sponsor and exhibitor contracts and provide tailored quotes and packages for event inquiries Coordinate logistics, including supplies, materials, and virtual event platforms, ensuring smooth operations Communicate with exhibitors, speakers, attendees, and branch leads to gather information and provide updates Support event budgeting, track costs, and maintain accurate financial and payment records Contribute to marketing efforts by creating promotional content and managing event platforms Organize webinars, professional development workshops, and chapter branch meetings, ensuring all elements function effectively Gather and manage post-event feedback to improve future events Ensure compliance with data privacy standards and support other event-related tasks as needed

Requirements:



Demonstrable organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal communication Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Excell, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with virtual event platforms (e.g. Teams) Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications Experience in administrative finance, event coordination, logistics, or administration (
