The following are the core responsibilities of the
Administration Assistant.
This role is essential in supporting the day-to-day operations of our healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a professional telephone manner, and a commitment to maintaining a smooth and efficient administrative workflow.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties:
Summarise and process incoming patient records.
File, organise, and store documents securely and accurately.
Manage updates to patient registrations, including new registrations and deductions.
Enter data into patients' healthcare records with a high level of accuracy.
Answer incoming phone calls professionally, handling queries or transferring calls as appropriate.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised work area at all times.
Provide general administrative support to clinical and non-clinical staff as required.
Secondary Duties:
Request repeat prescriptions through the GP or Pharmacy team.
Scan and distribute incoming post to relevant departments or individuals.
Please note: Duties may vary depending on workload and staffing levels.
Requirements
Experience (Preferred but not essential):
Minimum 1 year of administrative experience.
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
Skills and Attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in basic IT and data entry.
Able to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to reliably commute to Haddenham or plan to relocate before starting.
English language proficiency (preferred).
Full UK Driving Licence (preferred).
