Maternity cover (Year 3) - From January 2026: Up until the end of the academic year (possibly up to October 1/2 term 2026)

The Role:



This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and passionate teacher to join Bishop's Waltham Junior School on a maternity cover basis. You will be working as part of our Year 3 team, alongside an experienced colleague, to maintain the high standards of education and care that our school is known for.


We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Year 3 Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will:

Deliver engaging, inspiring learning experiences that raise aspirations. Motivate and challenge all learners, ensuring they achieve their best. Be committed to securing excellent outcomes for all children. Champion inclusivity, valuing the contributions of every child, including those with special educational needs. Nurture confident, independent learners who collaborate effectively.

The Successful Candidate Will:



Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2. Be passionate about teaching and have the ability to inspire and motivate children. Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment. Be a team player, eager to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff. Have excellent communication skills, both with children and adults.
