Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to educating students and helping them achieve their academic goals. This role involves working closely with children, including those with special educational needs, to provide tailored tutoring sessions that enhance their learning experience.

Duties

Develop and implement individualised tutoring plans based on each student's unique needs and learning objectives. Provide support in various subjects, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the material. Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student engagement and confidence. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators to track progress and address any concerns. Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement. Assist in the development of study skills and strategies that promote independent learning.

Skills

Strong background in education with experience in tutoring or teaching children. Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students and their families. Ability to educate and inspire students, fostering a love for learning. Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of learners. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple students' progress effectively.
