Wright's Education Ltd are looking to hire a

qualified teacher or a capable tutor of Maths and English

. You must be able to teach

both

subjects confidently. Successful candidates will be UK teachers with a PGCE or QTS or will have tutored both Maths and English in the past. Individuals who have gained experience through working with children for a number of years in a professional capacity may also be considered. We are initially starting at a few hours per week, but will eventually build up the number of students.

Wright's Education is an online tuition platform

. As one of our Tutors, you will be home-based and will need a strong internet connection as well as a webcam and fully working microphone. You will be provided with a work email and must have your own Zoom account or Google Meets. The role is for after school hours (4pm-8pm) but on a trial basis you will start off with a small number of students. You must be in a position to commit to at least a

six month contract

as our students are paying to have the same tutor throughout the academic year and will not want to be switched around once comfortable with their tutor.

We specialise in 11+ tuition which means you will need to have a good knowledge of Maths and English. We will provide you with training as well as the resources required. A good knowledge of grammar schools is a bonus.

The maximum salary is 16 per hour providing you can confidently tutor Maths and English. You will start off with only a small number of students to check suitability. Parents and students will fill in a feedback form to let us know if they think you are a match.

The online platform enables you to be seen by students on a one-to-one basis. You must be DBS certified. Interviews will be conducted via Zoom.
