We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to provide personalised academic support to students across various subjects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, excellent communication skills, and experience working with children or individuals requiring special education. Responsibilities
Deliver one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in designated subjects, adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
Assess students' strengths and areas for improvement, setting achievable goals to enhance their academic performance
Develop customised lesson plans and educational materials that align with curriculum standards and student needs
Monitor progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to students and parents where appropriate
Create a supportive and motivating learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence
Maintain accurate records of sessions, attendance, and progress reports
Stay informed about current educational practices and incorporate innovative techniques into tutoring sessions
Skills
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children or individuals requiring special education support
Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts in an accessible manner
Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Organised with excellent time management skills to plan effective lessons within scheduled sessions
Flexibility to adapt teaching strategies based on individual student needs and progress
Knowledge of educational standards and curriculum requirements relevant to the subjects tutored
