Are you passionate about mathematics and committed to helping students succeed? East Durham College is looking for an experienced

Maths Lecturer

to deliver high-quality teaching and lead an ambitious curriculum that inspires learners across all levels.

What you'll do:

Teach engaging lessons using innovative methods and technology. Lead assigned programmes, including planning, assessment, and quality assurance. Support students with guidance and feedback in an inclusive learning environment. Contribute to curriculum development aligned with future skills needs. Work collaboratively with colleagues and mentor new teachers.

What we're looking for:

Degree in a related subject and a recognised post-16 teaching qualification. Proven experience teaching formal programmes and leading courses. Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills. Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.

Desirable:

Experience in curriculum design and internal quality assurance. Ability to lead course teams and improve student outcomes.
