Youth College is an exciting and alternative curriculum offer for Y11 school-aged students (15-16) who access their curriculum at South Tyneside College. In this unique role, you will help develop and support up to 70 students in preparation for their GCSE exams.
Delivering to class sizes of no more than 14 and teaching only 5 different groups within the Youth College cohort, you will also have unique support from a dedicated Attendance Welfare Officer and Youth College Manager. The Youth College teaching team and pastoral support network also operate as a small and close unit, offering pastoral support to the learners that we serve.

Requirements: While experience with GCSE, Functional Skills, and FE provision is advantageous, we're also keen to hear from individuals who are new to the teaching profession but possess a genuine passion for maths and a desire to inspire others.
