We are recruiting a Maths or Computer Science ECT for an 11-18 secondary school in the Cambridge area, starting January 2026.

The Role

• Position: Maths or Computer Science ECT
• Location: Cambridge
• Start Date: January 2026
• Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

You will:

• Teach Maths or Computer Science at KS3 and KS4, with possible KS5 exposure later in your ECT years.
• Follow well-structured schemes and use a bank of shared resources.
• Receive a reduced timetable, ECT training and a named mentor.
• Work with experienced colleagues who will support behaviour management and planning.
• Be encouraged to contribute to STEM clubs, competitions or projects over time.

• Trainee teacher working towards QTS in Maths or Computer Science.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for your discipline.
• Reflective, proactive and open to feedback.
