Our organisation provides tutoring services to primary and secondary students throughout the UK. The ideal candidate for this position is energetic, committed, and passionate about the subject area. It is essential that any tutor hired has a strong command of the subject material.
Responsibilities:
Establish clear, attainable goals for students. Introduce students to a range of learning styles. Use classroom examples and real-world problems to explain, show, and demonstrate all coursework. Help students become comfortable with the language of Maths, Science, and English. Engage students in class discussions about the subject matter. Establish a grading policy that helps students focus on knowledge rather than scores. Advise students on how to approach their studies. Build a strong rapport with students.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 7.75-13.50 per hour
