Job Description

As Maths assistant your role will involve:

To support students on pure maths at secondary level, GCSE and A level To engage in worksheet study if the instructor deems necessary To attend training sessions as and when required observing and guiding students as they complete their Kumon work To help set up and clear away classroom at the beginning and end of each class To accurately mark and record students' work Maintain discipline in class To update student attendance register To liaise with parents/ give feedback, take messages
Key Skills Required for the Role:

Sound communication skills Strong grasp of maths up to degree level concepts like negative numbers, simultaneous equations, factorisation, quadratic equations, quadratic and exponential functions etc. Proactive, ability to pick up processes quickly and implement them efficiently Experience of Kumon desirable but not necessary
Full training will be provided. DBS clearance is essential, costs have to be borne by candidate.

Job Type- Part Time
