classroom teaching role across KS3 and KS4

, with additional leadership responsibilities as

Head of Key Stage 4 or 5

Key Stage Leadership Responsibilities




Strategically lead the development and performance of a key stage in Mathematics Promote the ethos, aims and public image of the department Drive high standards of attainment, attendance, behaviour and engagement Oversee curriculum planning, teaching quality and assessment within the key stage Monitor student progress and implement effective interventions Support and mentor new teachers (ECTs/PGCE trainees) Foster strong partnerships with parents and carers

General Teaching Responsibilities




Plan and deliver engaging, interactive and inspiring Maths lessons Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities Maintain regular communication with parents regarding progress and achievements Uphold high expectations for student behaviour and academic success
