Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and effective maths sessions (Functional Skills & GCSE) to groups of students. Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to support development. Monitor attendance and retention, following up on absences where necessary. Support students with additional needs, ensuring inclusive and accessible learning. Safeguard the welfare of students and promote British Values. Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks in line with internal and external requirements.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Experienced

- Confident in delivering Functional Skills and GCSE Maths.

Engaging

- A strong communicator with excellent rapport-building skills.

Organised

- Able to manage workload effectively within a full-time role.

- Committed to helping students overcome barriers to learning.

Essential Skills and Qualities

Proven ability to deliver effective group training sessions. Strong understanding of student needs, including SEND support strategies. Competence in using IT for teaching and administration. A proactive, solution-focused approach to education and learning.
