Job Summary

We are seeking skilled MDU Fibre Engineers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fibre optic networks within multi-dwelling units (MDUs). This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience on City Fibre MDU builds is an advantage but not essential.

Works will be around the South East and East Anglia region, there will be a requirement to work away most of the time. All digs are covered.

Duties

Install, test, and maintain fibre optic cabling systems in multi-dwelling units. Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and prepare detailed reports. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently to ensure minimal downtime. Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure timely project completion. Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and service requests. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.

Skills

Proficiency in fibre optic installation techniques and equipment. Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Previous experience in telecommunications or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory. Must hold necessary MDU qualifications, such as SA002, SA0020, K8 and asbestos awareness

Pay: 150.00-200.00 per day
