My client, a rapidly growing Mechanical Contractor, is seeking an

M&E Commercial Manager

to lead the commercial function. You'll ensure profitability, contractual security, and financial control across multiple projects, working closely with senior leadership and project teams.

M&E Commercial Manager Key Responsibilities

Maintaining the commercial control of Contracts and Projects Ensuring the maximisation of value recovery, cost control and cash management and profitability of the Business. Protecting the Business contractual position. Preparing of financial reports. Producing final internal accounts. Managing the subcontract and materials orders. Developing commercial awareness of the site teams. Ownership and or support of Contract and Project material costs and project timelines and maintain support with Project Teams to ensure financial adherence. Working closely with the Senior Team for delivery of programme strategy.

M&E Commercial Manager Key Desirables:

Degree qualified (Business, Engineering, or Construction Management) Strong experience in commercial/project management within construction (ideally Mechanical/M&E) Knowledge of public sector frameworks / local authority contracts Skilled in negotiation, risk management, and financial reporting IT confident (Microsoft Office + financial/contract systems) Excellent communicator and relationship builder UK Driving Licence - travel to sites required
