M&E Fit-Out Manager

Location: South Kirkby

D7 Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established engineering and manufacturing firm based in South Kirkby. With a strong reputation in delivering high-spec industrial projects, our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Fit-Out Manager to join their growing operations team.

This is a key position for someone with solid experience in mechanical and electrical installations, looking to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced and technical environment.

The Role

As the M&E Fit-Out Manager, you'll take full ownership of mechanical and electrical works across multiple fit-out projects. The role demands hands-on coordination with both internal teams and subcontractors, with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and efficiency.

Responsibilities Include:

Overseeing all M&E fit-out activities from planning through to completion.

Coordinating resources, scheduling works, and managing subcontractors.

Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, technical standards, and project specifications.

Monitoring quality, timelines, and cost performance.

Working closely with site teams, project managers, and senior stakeholders.

Resolving technical challenges and offering practical installation guidance.

What We're Looking For

Proven background in M&E fit-out management within construction, engineering, or interiors.

Solid technical understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and installation practices.

Effective leadership, organisation, and communication skills.

Ability to manage competing demands and tight deadlines.

Relevant qualifications in engineering, construction, or project management (desirable but not essential).

Hours & Benefits

Monday - Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm

Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm

Annual Christmas shutdown and all Bank Holidays off.
