Overview

Nuco Solutions require an experience Project Manager with high level of Mechanical knowledge for their client and projects based in London

Responsibilities

Project Delivery:

Lead the end-to-end delivery of two mechanical packages (e.g., HVAC, domestic water services, drainage) on a multi-unit residential development.

Subcontractor Coordination:

Manage site teams and specialist subcontractors to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality installation of mechanical systems in accordance with project drawings and specifications.

Client & Main Contractor Liaison:

Serve as the primary point of contact with the main contractor's site team, design consultants, and client representatives to coordinate programme, design changes, and progress reporting.

Planning & Programming:

Develop detailed lookahead programmes and sequencing plans to align with overall construction milestones and ensure optimal resource allocation.

Design Management:

Review and coordinate mechanical design information, flagging clashes, discrepancies, or buildability issues, and liaising with the design team to drive resolutions.

Quality Control:

Implement and maintain quality assurance processes including inspections, ITPs, and snagging to ensure works are completed to specification and compliant with regulations.

Health & Safety Compliance:

Enforce M&E health and safety standards on site, conducting toolbox talks, risk assessments, and ensuring method statements are followed by all operatives.

Procurement Support:

Assist with procurement of materials and plant, ensuring timely delivery aligned with programme requirements and site logistics.

Commercial Interface:

Work with the commercial team to support valuations, manage variations, and ensure labour and material usage is tracked for accurate cost control.

Commissioning & Handover:

Coordinate testing, commissioning, and close-out documentation (O&M manuals, as-builts), ensuring all systems are handed over in full working order and signed off by the relevant parties

Qualifications

SMSTS CSCS Card Full UK Drivers License High level Mechanical knowledge
