Role: Meeting & Events Executive
Location: London
Salary / Rate of pay: From 15.00 per hour
Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a popular event & accommodation venue in London, and we have a fantastic opportunity for a temporary Meeting & Events Sales Executive to join their team for an ongoing placement that has the potential to lead to permanent for the right person.
What's in it for you?
- Monday and Friday (primarily Office hours)
- Salary - From 15.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Weekly pay (paid each Friday)
- 40-hour week
- Manage client relationships, develop and execute marketing strategies, whilst overseeing budgeting and forecasting
- Supervise team members, optimising the event booking system (rendezvous)and ensuring smooth delivery of all events
- Act as the client's main point of contact on event days
- Conduct event briefings and fire safety introductions
- Check on client satisfaction throughout the event
- Coordinate with catering and internal teams for seamless service
- Previous experience in M&E or Sales, both proactive and reactive desired within hospitality or similar venues
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ideally, knowledge of PMS systems - Rendezvous would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- MUST be immediately available with no commitments, such as holidays or notice period, as we are seeking someone to start w/c 16th June for 8 weeks minimum
