Operating on a Continental Shift pattern in a 24/7 setting, you'll work as part of a skilled team responsible for maintaining operational resilience and site integrity.
This role offers the opportunity to develop your expertise in a highly technical environment, with strong training pathways and upskilling support
As a Multi Skilled Shift Technician, you will play a key role in delivering both reactive and planned preventative maintenance across a major, fast-paced critical environment.
You will also manage and escort specialist subcontractors, ensuring all M&E tasks and maintenance activities are completed to the highest standards and in line with compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Understand and apply SSOW and ISS Policies for effective risk mitigation
HV/LV Authorised Person duties, including safety program creation and switching operations (if electrically biased)
Prioritise and schedule tasks to meet SLA requirements
Monitor and respond to critical systems and HVAC performance parameters
Oversee and support engineering work across the site
Ensure accurate shift handover and escalation of issues
Deliver high-quality PPM and reactive maintenance within SLA targets
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Positive, proactive attitude with a strong focus on customer service
Experience in M&E building maintenance
Previous work in Data Centre or Critical Environments
Health & Safety awareness; IOSH or NEBOSH qualification desirable
Holds a BTEC or City & Guilds certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Strong understanding of critical systems operations
Committed to maintaining high standards in safety and service delivery
