M&E Technician

Shift based role - 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)

We have an exciting M&E Technician opportunity at our Stourton Dairy in Leeds, Arla's second-largest and most complex dairy site in the UK, producing over 700 million litres of tasty and nutritious products each year.

How will you add value

Provide critical breakdown support across a complex 24/7 production site from filling and packaging lines, chilling systems and conveyors. Carry out planned, preventative maintenance and servicing activities as planned via the CMMS system Troubleshoot and diagnose breakdowns using structure problem solving techniques and drive continuous improvement to improve operational efficiencies. Champion health and safety by adhering to safety standards, SOPs and participating in risk assessment Support and lean into projects across the site, both small and large, actively inputting to site development and performance.

Experience in an FMCG, Food or regulated manufacturing environment, working at pace in a maintenance engineer or similar Ideally you will be time served/ apprentice trained engineer holding a minimum NVQ Level 3/ ONC or higher. Structured problem solving experience, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and faulting finding. Computer literate - SAP PM or similar CMMS system, Microsoft Office

Things we'd love to tell you about our Stourton site

Site takes in 2.2 million litres of Milk daily Produces around 660 million litres of the nation's favourites per year from 16 automated filling lines. Producing over 225 SKU within 10 different product groups such as Cravendale & BOB filtered milk, Flavoured milk, Creams, alcohol cream, custards and cottage cheese are supplied from Stourton. Site has received c.315 million in investment since 2004, with a further major investment of c.50 million soon to begin.
