What you'll be doing:
Perform diagnostics, servicing, inspections, and repairs on a range of fleet vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational standards.
Respond to service requests, attend breakdowns, and carry out repairs at various locations (static and mobile services).
Contribute to process and service improvements.
Utilise advanced diagnostic tools to identify faults and implement effective solutions.
Lead and execute vehicle conversions and radio equipment installations to NAPFM and NFCC standards.
Install and maintain telematics systems, in-vehicle recording equipment, and other advanced technologies.
Stay current with evolving vehicle technologies, including electric vehicles.
Provide accurate and timely maintenance data.
What We're Looking For
Essential
Relevant qualification(s) in vehicle maintenance (e.g., Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician) or demonstrable experience delivering high-quality transport maintenance services in a high-volume environment.
Proficiency in using and interpreting diagnostic tools.
Experience in vehicle conversion processes.
Strong technical problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage complex tasks independently and collaboratively.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate across diverse platforms.
Competent in Microsoft Office and IT systems, with accurate record-keeping skills.
Full current driving licence relevant to the role.
Familiarity with Health & Safety practices in a workshop environment.
