Do you have manufacturing experience and enjoy working with tools in a fast-paced environment?
We're working with a busy and growing manufacturer in the Eastfield area who are looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join their production team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in hands-on assembly work who is confident using hand and power tools and comfortable working from technical drawings.
Responsibilities of the Mechanical Assembler:

Assembling cold-rolled steel frames and structures

Following technical drawings and build specifications

Using a range of hand and power tools safely and correctly

Adhering to health & safety practices at all times

Carrying out regular quality checks and reporting non-conformances

Supporting wider manufacturing processes and stock checks when required

As a Mechanical Assembler you need to have:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role

Good knowledge of hand and power tools

The ability to read and follow technical drawings

High attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety and quality

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team

Physical fitness and dexterity - this is a practical, hands-on role

This role offers a full time temporary to permanent position working in a busy factory environment with excellent work life balance working days shifts monday to friday (no weekends!).
