Mechanical Assembly Fitter - (hydraulic competence experience preferred)

Harworth, Doncaster

Hourly rate: Depending on experience

The Role

Working on a range of steel profiles, bespoke frames, predominately scissor lifts and other general lifting equipment structures within a purpose built workshop. Ability to accurately interpret drawings for build and refurb requirements. Working within clear quality and finish standards and tight deadlines. Carrying out the assembly build to final factory sign off. Working with and understanding of hydraulics. There may be limited assistance required with installation of product. Final factory connection of control panels and electrical wiring sign off - electrical competence.

Environment

Fully equipped workshop. Heavy Manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise. Heavy manual handling at times in excess of 26kg+ Confined space working. Progression routes can lead to regional site commissioning.

Do you have?

Hydraulic skill-set General ability and skill for mechanical fitting/build and maintenance Familiarisation with loading bay/lifting equipment. Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems. Ability to work under pressure A FLT license would be desirable but not essential.
